A first MetaHuman full-length opera / in development
What if something that's your whole purpose
also kills you?
Would you stop?
The Story
We find ourselves in an metaphysical, mystical space of an endless field in the middle of which stands a large white wall, with no end or beginning in sight. A kind of "purgatory", where the main character, young woman named Hana, meets two Deaths, each of which tries to "take her for itself".
Discovering the meaning, the purpose of her existence and hinting at the "universal truth", Hana breaks down the wall that separates her from everything that is " the After".
Unique blend of contemporary classical music, pop and EDM approaches. Live instruments ensemble, including string quintet (2 violins, viola, cello & contrabass), 2 flutes, bass clarinet and percussion, merged with electronic music (synthesizers, home-made VSTs and other plug-ins) and, of course, opera singers - 2 sopranos, one alto and a chamber choir.
